Visit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to DDP
28 June 2007

Explaining the DDP program The international NGOs must work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cambodia, but it was felt that the Ministry may not really know what the INGOs are doing. A visit to several projects was arranged and DDP was the first stop on the tour. Here Charlie Dittmeier explained the work with deaf people.
Visiting a DDP classroom After the general overview, the delegation from the MFA visited one of the DDP classrooms to meet the deaf students and their teacher.
Explaining the sign language research The visitors also learned about the work of the sign language researchers who are recording Cambodian Sign Language and publishing dictionaries and grammars of CSL.
