Viewing DDP Photographs

7 December 2008

Ronise Barreras, the Residential Education Coordinator of the DDP hostel, Tashi Bradford, the project officer for sign language, and Charlie Dittmeier all take a lot of photographs. And the deaf people in the projects always want to see them. Today Ronise (seated behind the laptop) arranged a showing of many of the photos she has taken in different settings with the deaf people.

The plan was to use an LCD projector to show the photos which are stored on a laptop. But the laptop was a Mac and there was not a compatible connection to the projector so most of the photos were shown just on the small laptop screen. Later, Tashi got an adapter that enabled her to show some of her photos from her Mac laptop. We used the meeting room of the Catholic Social Communications office for our gathering.
