FAD in Cambodia / Day 3
28 February 2007

Presentation of the Skills Development Project Srey Keo and Sou Poly (left) and Sophal (seated, back to camera) presented what has happened with the Skills Development Project, particularly the actual job training and the situation at DDP House, our hostel. These projects are the core activities of the funding commitment from the Finnish Association of the Deaf.
Listening to reports This whole day was given to reports from five of the six DDP projects. In the afternoon the group listened to a report from the Deaf Community Development Project. Various staff came to the meeting--which was held at Charlie Dittmeier's house--during the day to make presentations.
A full day of reports on DDP projects During the course of the day, the meeting had reports from the Skills Development Project, the Basic Education Project, the Interpreting Project, the Sign Language Research Project, and then the Deaf Community Development Project. DDP's sixth project is Social Service but it is not formally organized into a project so there was no report.
Talking about a yoga class At the end of the day, some of the staff talked about the relaxing effect and other benefits of yoga.
