In order to get a fuller picture of the DDP program, Pauliina Aalto was taken to Banteay Meanchey Province where a DDP classroom with a dirt floor is located in a government school building.  Neang Putheara, the DDP program manager, and Liza Clews,a program advisor, accompanied Pauliina. When she saw on a map that the road to Banteay Meanchey went through the province where Angkor Wat is located, Pauliina asked if a detour could be arranged so that she might be able to see Cambodia's most famous landmark.
