Teacher Training
December, 2008

 

Every year the six teachers of the Deaf Development Programme gather for teacher training. Two weeks of training are in August and a further session is held in December. This year, however, the December training was shortened to one and a half days to allow time for the DDP manager to review DDP policy with all the staff.

Celina Campas with the DDP teachers Celina Campas (standing) is a Maryknoll Lay Missioner who works in the education project at DDP. Part of her responsibility is providing teacher training to the six DDP teachers.
DDP teachers The DDP teachers have been given special training in education of deaf students and are quite skilled. Currently they work in Phnom Penh and three provinces.
