It seemed odd to me, but the organizers arranged for everyone to have a hamburger from a local McDonald's look-alike. What scared me is that they had them delivered at 9:00 AM in the morning and then didn't eat them until 2:00 PM! They just let them sit in 90+ heat with no refrigeration! Next year we'll make sure that doesn't happen again!
