Some of the dancers from the Dong Nai School group who came to Phnom Penh are Catholic so it was arranged to have a mass for them in the hotel room of their leaders. Fr. Charlie Dittmeier was the priest and used a combination of different sign languages for communicating. |

This small-group Sunday mass provided the Catholic students with a special opportunity to pray in their own language and in a small setting where it was possible to feel more a part of the liturgy. They attend mass with a sign language intepreter in Vietnam but it is different when the priest can sign and interact with the participants in their own language. |
