DDP Staff Training

DDP Staff Meetings 28-30 December 2009

In August the Deaf Development Programme teachers had a session of teacher training and now in December they had two more days of work together before being joined by all the rest of the DDP staff for general staff development meetings. These are pictures from the presentations made by each of the six projects so that all the staff would better understand each other's work.

The six teachers of the Deaf Development Programme in their own training session before the general staff meetings. They work in Phnom Penh and Kampot and Kampong Cham Provinces.
Sopheak, one of the teachers from Kampot, brought her new daughter with her to Phnom Penh for the three days of meetings.
Sokly, the manager of DDP, addressed all the staff. These times together are quite valuable because of DDP's work in two provinces in addition to Phnom Penh.
Sophy spoke about the Education Project.
Vichet described the activities and training within the sign language Interpreting Project.
Kimhak, one of our newest staff, spoke about the changes taking place in the Job Training Project.
Tashi brought everyone up-to-date about the objectives and accomplishments of the Sign Language Project.
The newest staff member is Vannarith, the manager of the Social Services Project.
