Adventure in
Kampong Cham
1 September 2009

A somewhat routine trip to the provinces turned into something of an adventure today. Getting out to the provinces is always interesting because the people and the environment are so different from Phnom Penh but this trip will be long remembered. Sokly (Program Manager), Kimhak (Job Training Project Officer), and Charlie (Director) planned a trip to Kampong Cham to deliver some money to a deaf woman setting up a business; to introduce Kimhak to another part of his new job; and to check on possible housing for teachers for an AIDS project. The rain turned the travel on remote back roads into a long and adventurous day.
